Entrepreneur, serial company founder and inventor, Dr. Tony Hooley, joins FOSTER Tech as Executive Chairman and IP Director

Bristol-based deep-tech startup FOSTER Technology is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Tony Hooley as its Executive Chairman and IP specialist. Tony brings to the team a wealth of experience ranging from innovation and entrepreneurship to leadership and management. Thriving on bringing technological innovations to market, Tony has broad experience of setting up and running tech-companies in England and Australia.

Tony is the author of around 100 granted patents, and the founder of Cambridge Mechatronics Ltd. His companies' long-term customers include industry giants such as Pioneer, Yamaha, TDK, Mitsubishi, FoxConn and Huawei, as well as many lesser-known but major manufacturers in the cellphone industry.

Tony and Jason, who have known each other since meeting at Clare Hall, Cambridge, 15 years ago, have decided that the time is right to further their collaboration and leverage Tony's 40+ years expertise in commercialisation, innovation and entrepreneurship. As Executive Chairman and IP Director at FOSTER Tech, Tony will oversee the management of the company's corporate strategy, as well as playing a vital role in managing the development of the company's Intellectual Property.
